This cardstock flyer was designed for a ministry school in northeast Ohio. Capturing the idea of heritage in ministry was especially important to this project. To achieve this end I incorporated a photograph of Cleveland edited to achieve vintage appeal and a map of Cleveland from the early 1900s (which already possessed vintage appeal)
“North Coast School of Supernatural Ministry’s mission is to equip and deploy revivalists who passionately pursue worldwide transformation within their God-given sphere’s of influence.”
The symbol of a keyhole was chosen early on by the ministry school’s director, but there was some exploring that needed to be done before a final design was decided upon. After experimenting with a variety of shapes and layouts it was ultimately agreed upon that the simplest version would work best. While not chosen for this project, some of the other logo concepts turned out well and are worth including here as an example of the logo creation process.
