LoveMedia Branding

In an effort to help stimulate interest in the volunteer media department of Church on the North Coast I resolved to do something more than just making a logo and sticking it on some flyers. The result is a creation of an entire motif. Reflective of the existing name “LoveMedia” the hearts are formed by interconnecting geometric hoops and lines that symbolize suggest the technical nature of the volunteer group. To arrive at the shape of the hearts I photographed various media equipment used by the department and focused on the various points and highlights of an image. From there, the key points of the images were connected by the geometry with a bias to make the symbolic heart shapes. Because each photograph is different, each heart shape is different, which could be interpreted to represent the flexible nature of technology and its applications.
